Morrisdale Neighborhood Association is more than just being part of the association. Members of MNA and residents of Morrisdale Estates get involved in various events and fundraising activities across the DFW metroplex area, but like to focus on areas near to the neighborhood. Community involvement is the cornerstone of MNA’s Mission Statement, doing things that assure the continued safety of our families and homes, maintain neighborhood atmosphere and promote the mature charm of this development for new homeowners moving to this area. It’s a commitment to assist with the activities that help our neighborhood, our community, and our local area.

Morrisdale residents frequently have donation drives for Mission Central.
Mission Central
Morrisdale residents have repeatedly donated to Mission Central, which addresses the growing needs of families who are at the poverty level in their community. MNA members have supported food drives for Mission Central, a local assistance program founded in 1996 by members of the First United Methodist Church in Hurst. The caring members and staff of First United Methodist Church of Hurst, Texas were drawn to address the growing needs of families who were at the poverty level in their community. As the needs became greater, other churches and organizations wanted to take part in our work in Hurst, Euless and Bedford. To facilitate work among these many groups, Mission Central became a separate non-profit organization in 2003. Since then, the organization has grown three-fold and has served thousands of families in the Mid-Cities. Learn more about Mission Central at their Web site.
